The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinders, DOHC, 2 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 8.7:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25 H19 front tire and a 4.00 H18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 292mm discs, 1 piston calipers in the front and a Single 292mm disc, 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 35 mm Kayaba with anti dive adjustable air pressure. while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks adjustable preload and spring rebound damping.. The GS750G was fitted with a 18 Liters / 4.8 US gal / 4.0 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 249 kg / 548 lbs. The wheelbase was 1490 mm./ 58.7 in long.

Suzuki GS 750G
The GS750 engine lived on in Japan where it wasn't allowed to sell motorcycles larger than 750 cc piston displacement. Basically the GS750G was GS850G with a 748 cc engine and different handlebar, both models were sport tourers with shaft drive. The GS750G was presented in December 1979.
