A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1255.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W), tubeless front tire and a 180/55ZR17M/C (73W), tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs, ABS in the front and a Single hydraulic disc, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, oil damped, preload adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Link-type suspension, 7-way adjustable preload, 4-way adjustable rebound. The GSF1250FA Bandit ABS was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 58.5 inches (1486 mm) long.

The 2010 MY GSF1250FA Bandit ABS is a big-bore naked bike gone faired. However, the big Bandit did not receive a full fairing, so it retains part of the mean looks the stripped-down models boasted. With performance figures through the roof in its category, this GSF1250FA Bandit ABS also introduces ABS for extended peace of mind when hard braking is the only way to deal with life.
