The Suzuki QuadSport Z400 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Suzuki between 2005 and 2018.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 90.0mm bore x 62.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 398.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 22/7-10 front tire and a 20/10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a independent, double wishbone, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped. The QuadSport Z400 was fitted with a 2.4 Gallon (9.10 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 49.02 inches (1245 mm) long.

Created for those who like the adrenaline rush sport quad racing provides, the 2011 Suzuki QuadSport Z400 is ready to tackle both dirt tracks and forest trails. With a precise fuel injection, this quad will offer a most rewarding experience for the daring rider, especially as the front track was widened a bit offering better stability through the turns and a more reassuring feel. Wider foot pegs, an adjustable brake lever and structural chassis rigidity are all borrowed from the racing R450 machine.

A 5-speed manual transmission ensures there's a gear and power deployment figure for virtually any scenario, track or trail, the experienced rider will surely appreciate this. Disc brakes ensure solid stopping power, while alloy wheels are offering great looks and less weight.
