Tank slapper

What happens in rare cases when a motorcycle’s handlebars slap back and forth at high speed going from one steering stop to the next in rapid succession (slapping) , while the bike is in motion, often due to alignment or suspension issues. The name comes from the bars close proximity to the tank.
