The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, OHC. The engine featured a 9.3:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Dry, three-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25 x 19 in, ribbed front tire and a 3.25 x 19 in, studded rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 7.5 x 1.5 in., drum in the front and a 7 x 1 in., drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork with hydraulic compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a Woodhead-Monroe springs with hydraulic damping, later Armstrong and Girling, adjustable. The Viper Clubman was fitted with a 19.3 L / 5.1 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 181 kg / 399 lbs. The wheelbase was 1365 mm / 53.75 in long.
