The Vespa GS 160 was a Single Cylinder, 2 Stroke, air cooled scooter produced by Vespa in 1962. Claimed horsepower was 8.05 HP (6.0 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 145.5 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.5x10 front tire and a 3.5x10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Single unit front dumper and spring while the rear was equipped with a Coil spring with damper. The GS 160 was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 47.99 inches (1219 mm) long.
