The Victory Ness Magnum was a air-cooled, 4-stroke, 50-degree V-twin Cruiser motorcycle produced by Victory between 2005 and 2015.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a oil & air cooled air-cooled, 4-stroke, 50-degree V-twin. A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1731.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a gear transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/70 R21 front tire and a 180/60 R16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300 mm floating rotor, 4-piston caliper in the front and a 300 mm floating rotor, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm inverted cartridge telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a air adjustable monoshock. The Ness Magnum was fitted with a 5.81 Gallon (22.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 760.59 pounds (345.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.71 inches (1669 mm) long.
2015 Victory Ness Magnum[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Victory Ness Magnum sports a powerful, air-cooled, four-stroke, 1731cc, 50-degree V-twin mated to a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive, which ensures comfortable cruising speeds as well as enough acceleration for fast highway passes. The race-inspired inverted cartridge front fork offers, besides a plush ride, a modern touch to this bagger. A big, 21" alloy front wheel dominates its visuals, besides offering improved maneuverability. Touring capabilities are ensured by the hard, color-matching saddlebags and a high-performance, 100 watt, 6-speaker audio system inside the fork-mounted fairing.
The Ness Magnum comes with a special, Ness Midnight Cherry paint and graphic scheme, which is applied even on the rear fender closeouts, the saddlebag hinges and lock bezels, the headlight/taillight bezels, as well as in the dashboard and radiator shroud.
