The Vyrus 984 C3 2V was a v2, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Vyrus between 2003 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 144 mph (232 km/h).
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1078.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the anti-slippery clutch aptc vyrus.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/75-zr17 front tire and a 180/50-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. carbon fibre braketech vyrus discs in the front and a double disc. carbon fibre braketech vyrus discs in the rear. The front suspension was a progressive link vyrus mupo suspension fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a direct system vyrus mupo suspension fully adjustable. The 984 C3 2V was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 348.33 pounds (158.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.92 inches (1395 mm) long.
2003 Vyrus 984 C3 V2[edit | edit source]
Powered by a tuned Ducati 900SS desmodue motor, the first Vyrus 984 made its debut at the Padova Show, in January 2003. A total of 70 bikes have been constructed ever since.
