The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valve. The engine featured a 10.4:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 70/90-17 tubeless front tire and a 120/70-17 tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 1 piston caliper in the front and a Single disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm with monoshock. The Exciter 150 GP Edition was fitted with a 4.2 Liters / 0.92US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1240 mm / 49 in long.

Yamaha Y15ZR GP Edition
Yamaha Malaysia introduced the Yamaha Y15ZR GP, in commemoration of Yamahas continuous participation in the MotoGP world championship racing series, in their signature blue racing color. The graphics scheme was designed based on the 2018 Yamaha YZR-M1 which is raqced by Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales.
Features:
LED position lamps with 8 mentols to provide brighter lighting so that the rider can be seen from far.
LED taillights with brighter lighting when riding in the dark and during brake.
The braking system with a large-diameter front discs of 245.0 mm.
SOHC single cylinder engine, 4-stroke liquid-cooled 150 cc. 4-valve engine fuel injection with a radiator. A new power that gives acceleration from low gear ratio to the medium for optimum performance surge
3 silencers exhaust system makes the sound more impressive.
A multi - function meter with a combination of analogue tachometer and digital speedometer with LCD display that can be programmed individually.
Lights are designed to provide brighter and clearer lighting for better and safety ride.
The rear wheels of die-cast lightweight design in 3.5 inch wide with the rear wheel 120 / 70-17 is wider for a more robust grip.
The new security features that ensure the bike chain is always in place.
The all-new superbike styled rear fender.
