The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.8:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple discs, hydraulic operated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 283mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm upside-down telescopic fork w/adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping; while the rear was equipped with a Single shock, link-type, w/adjustable preload and rebound damping;. The FJR1300AE / ES was fitted with a 25 Liters / 6.6 gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 264 kg / 582 lbs. The wheelbase was 1544.3 mm / 60.8 in long.
