The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 48°V-Twin cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 8.3:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 150/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 296 mm discs 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 200 mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging link. The XV1600A Road Star / Wind Star Midnight was fitted with a 20 Liters / 5.3 us GAL fuel tank. The bike weighed just 307 kg / 676.8 lbs. The wheelbase was 1685 mm / 66.3 in long.
