The Harley Davidson Road Glide Standard was a air-cooled, Twin Cam 88 Touring motorcycle produced by Harley Davidson in 2005. Max torque was 86.3 ft/lbs (117.0 Nm) @ 3500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1450.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a MT90B16 72H front tire and a MU85B16 77H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 292mm discs in the front and a single 292mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a air-adjustable monoshock. The Road Glide Standard was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 63.5 inches (1613 mm) long.
2005 Harley Davidson Road Glide Standard[edit | edit source]
The 2005 MY Harley Davidson FLHT Road Glide Standard has, at its heart, an air-cooled, 1450cc, Twin Cam 88 powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can reach a peak torque of 117 Nm at 3500 rpm. The most notable features for this machine are the air-adjustable rear suspension, dual front disc brakes, hard, lockable saddlebags, a fork-mounted, bat-wing fairing with a speedometer and tachometer, rider floor boards, a full coverage and clean front fender, plus lots of chrome embellishments.
