The Triumph TIGER 800 XR was a Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2016. Max torque was 58.27 ft/lbs (79.0 Nm) @ 7850 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 94.94 HP (70.8 KW) @ 9250 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 800.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 150/70 R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 308 mm in the front and a Single disc 255 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 43 mm upside down forks, 180 mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Showa monoshock with hydraulically adjustable preload, 170 mm rear wheel travel. The TIGER 800 XR was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.2 inches (1529 mm) long.
2016 Triumph TIGER 800 XR[edit | edit source]
For 2016 Tiger 800 XR comes with cast wheels, 19 in front wheel, hydraulically adjustable Showa monoshock suspension and a torque-laden 95 PS 800cc triple engine the XR is ideally suited both for long road adventures and every-day functionality. Rider technology comes as standard with ride-by-wire throttle for improved response and feel, Triumph Traction Control and switchable ABS.
