The Bajaj Legend was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Bajaj in 2002. It could reach a top speed of 55 mph (88 km/h). Max torque was 7.97 ft/lbs (10.8 Nm) @ 3500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 8.85 HP (6.6 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multidisc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 4/10-18 psi front tire and a 4/10-25/36psi solo/pa rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a variable rate coil spring suspension with anti-dive front suspension while the rear was equipped with a adjustable front/rear suspension. The Legend was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 253.53 pounds (115.0 Kg).
