2013 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special
The MoCo has launched, for British riders only, a more aggressive, edgier version of the Fat Boy Lo, in the embodiment of the 2013 MY Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special. This machine shares all its innards and technology with its Fat Boy siblings, such as the Twin Cam 103B powerplant and the manual, six-speed Cruise Drive transmission, but with a more modern touch to its aesthetics.
Most of the chrome embellishments have been replaced with edgier, black powder-coating, on the bullet-hole, cast aluminum wheels, the engine accents, half the exhaust system, the frame and the upper half of the beefy front fork. Also, as all the machines from House Milwaukee, it comes with a wide variety of hand-finished paint and graphic schemes to choose from.
2014 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special
The 2014 MY Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special sports the same dependable, 1690cc, air-cooled Twin Cam 103B powerplant mated to a dependable six-speed manual transmission, as the base Fat Boy. The engine boasts a gut-churning 132 Nm of torque at only 3000 rpm. Technology-wise, it comes with the latest from the MoCo, ABS as standard, H-D Smart security system, as well as fat, 140mm front and 200mm rear, Dunlop tires that ensure all that asphalt-wrinkling power is always transferred to the road.
What differentiates the Fat Boy Special from the base Fat boy is a darker, more aggressive overall look, with blacked-out wheels, engine accents, fork and the first half of the exhaust system.
2015 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special
The 2015 MY Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special brings forth the classic-looking, "fat", styling and reliable performance of the base Fat Boy, with some added visual elements that make it look more aggressive. A darker, more edgy look is achieved by replacing the flashy chrome finishing with matte black on the first half of the exhaust system, the frame, the swingarm, the front shock covers, the derby cover, the air cleaner cover and the rims.
On the tech/engine side, it boasts a 1690cc powerplant that produces 132 Nm of power, mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
2016 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special
The 2016 MY Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special has been designed by the House of Milwaukee for the more adventurous riders, with a taste for more aggressive and modern-looking cruisers. Unlike the base model, the classic chrome has been replaced with blacked-out accents, and comes with ABS as standard. In the engine department, it sports the same air-cooled, four-stroke, 1690cc, High Output Twin Cam 103B powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 133 Nm of torque at 3250 rpm.
