2009 Vespa GTV 250[edit | edit source]
As its smaller displacement, LXV 150 sibling, the 2009 MY Vespa GTV 250 has been designed to celebrate 60 years of Vespa production, and has a design that has been heavily inspired from the 50's and 60's Vespa two-wheelers. It features a chromed luggage rack and a brown upholstered dual seat, which combine both functionality and classic styling, and makes this machine suitable for longer hauls, also.
At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 244cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 22 horsepower and 20 Nm of torque. In addition, the Italian engineers claim it can reach a top speed of 76 mph and a gas mileage of 65-70 mpg.
