The Kawasaki TERYX4 CAMO was a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, OHV, liquid-cooled ATV produced by Kawasaki in 2017. Max torque was 47.21 ft/lbs (64.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 783.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Continuously Variable belt-drive Transmission (CVT) with centrifugal clutch and H, L, N, and reverse transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Maxxis 26x9-12 front tire and a Maxxis 26x11-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs with two-piston calipers in the front and a Rear Brakes Sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Dual A-arm with a piggyback reservoir coil-over Fox Podium shocks, with adjustable spring preload and 24-way compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with a piggyback reservoir coil-over Fox Podium shocks, with adjustable spring preload and 24-way compression damping. The wheelbase was 85.59 inches (2174 mm) long.
2017 Kawasaki TERYX4 CAMO[edit | edit source]
Four-wheel drive (4x4) comes standard on this Kawasaki, sending power to all 4 wheels when necessary for better traction and stability. The 4WD is automatic, making it convenient and great for beginners, though it lacks the absolute sense of control provided by a manual part-time system. A front differential lock keeps the Teryx4 Camo stable on dicey terrain by preventing the wheel with less/no traction from free-wheeling.
An engine braking system (EBS) allows for safe descents down steep hills at very low speeds.
