The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 97.6mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1200.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate assist clutch.

It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 150/80-r16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. nissin 2-piston floating caliper in the front and a single disc. abs. nissin single piston floating caliper. in the rear.
