The Yamaha TY50p was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 1976. It could reach a top speed of 37 mph (60 km/h). Max torque was 0.3 ft/lbs (0.4 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 2.82 HP (2.1 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 40.0mm bore x 39.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 50.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a membrane.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 250/19-4pr front tire and a 300/17-4pr rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
