The Yamaha XV700CS was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 1986. It could reach a top speed of 126 mph (202 km/h). Max torque was 43.37 ft/lbs (58.8 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 54.85 HP (40.9 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 80.2mm bore x 69.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 699.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 140/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. single piston calipers in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
