The Aprilia Sportcity One 50 was a Horizontal single-cylinder 2-stroke scooter produced by Aprilia in 2009.

The bike has a V-belt transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic centrifugal dry clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120 / 70 x 14 front tire and a 120 / 70 x 14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 220 mm disc with two piston floating calliper in the front and a 140 mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic fork with 32 mm stanchions. Wheel travel 85 mm while the rear was equipped with a ingle hydraulic shock absorber with adjustable spring preload. Wheel travel 84 mm. The Sportcity One 50 was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 53.31 inches (1354 mm) long.

The 2008 Aprilia Sportcity One 50 is an urban ride-oriented scooter which retains the agile character of a racing one, but with updated, more stylish design cues for the city environment. Swift and nimble, economical, and easy to operate, the Sportcity One 50 is fun to ride, especially as it comes with an automatic transmission.
Functional and compact, the 2008 Sportcity One 50 still has room for a shopping bag, school books and a passenger.
