The engine was a Air cooled cooled Two stroke, single cylinder. The engine featured a 13.5:1 compression ratio.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75 -21 front tire and a 3.00 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 260 mm disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Gas assisted telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Single shock, adjustable dampers. The 125BX was fitted with a 12.5 Liters / 3.3 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 114 kg / 251 lbs.
