The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, Parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder with 180° crankshaft, chain camshaft drive and single gear-driven counterbalancer. The engine featured a 11.3:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 300mm discs, 2 piston caliper, Continental ABS System in the front and a Single 225mm disc, 1 piston caliper, Continental ABS System in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Extruded steel swingarm with tubular steel bracing and cantilever monoshock. The 650TR-G was fitted with a 17 Liters / 4.4 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1415 mm / 55.7 in long.
