It came with a 90/90 -16 front tire and a 100/90 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 220mm discs in the front and a Single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Marzocchi 35mm non-adjustable forks while the rear was equipped with a Alloy single Marzocchi shock soft damp. The Aletta Oro S2125 was fitted with a 18 Liters / 4.7 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 126 kg / 277.7 lbs. The wheelbase was 1380 mm / 54.3 in long.

Introduced in April 1986, Cagiva
Aletta Oro S2 represents little more 'than a slight update of the previous
S1 and color aside, the news' more 'immediately identifiable and' the
presence of goodwill electric range. The S2 then keeps unchanged the
characteristics of previous Cagiva, although the presentation of the
muscular and sporty Gilera KZ has cleared the only clear advantage that the
competition had Aletta Oro, or the presence of medium capacity.
