The Factory Bike Desert YR250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Factory Bike between 2004 and 2005.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 67.5mm bore x 69.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.8 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multidisc in oil cath.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi hydraulic 50 mm while the rear was equipped with a shock-absorber ohlins. The Desert YR250 was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 227.08 pounds (103.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.27 inches (1480 mm) long.
