The Gas Gas SM 515 FSR was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, 4 valves Supermotard motorcycle produced by Gas Gas in 2008.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 515.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80 -17 front tire and a 140/80 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 300mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 220mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins monoshock with progressive linkage.

The 2008 MY Gas Gas SM 515 FSR sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 515cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive. Also, it has been fitted with laced wheels, a single seat, a small headlight, wide handlebars, an under-seat exhaust system with a black muffler, a steel frame with an aluminum swingarm, a digital instrumentation panel, front and rear disc brakes, and a suspension package composed of a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down fork in the front and an Ohlins rear shock absorber with progressive linkage.
