The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, V-Twin, 2 Milwaukee-Eight® 114, Pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Multi-plate, wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/60B21,63H,BW front tire and a 240/40R18,79V,BW rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x Disc, 4 piston caliper in the front and a Single disc, 2 piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa Inverted forks while the rear was equipped with a Mono Shock. The Softail Breakout 114 - 115th Anniversary was fitted with a 13.2 L / 3.5 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 294 kg / 648 lbs. The wheelbase was 1695 mm / 66.7 in long.
