The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, V-Twin, Milwaukee-Eight 107, Pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Multi-plate, wet.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/70B18 63H BW front tire and a 180/70B16 77H BW rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 292 mm discs, 4 piston caliper in the front and a Single 292 mm disc, 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa Inverted forks while the rear was equipped with a Mono Shock adjustable. The Softail Sport Glide was fitted with a 18.9 Liters / 5.0 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 304 kg / 671 lbs. The wheelbase was 1625 mm / 64 in long.
