The Hercules A175 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Hercules between 1956 and 1966. It could reach a top speed of 56 mph (90 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 9.12 HP (6.8 KW) @ 5250 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 62.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 173.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-16 front tire and a 3.50-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a swingarm. The A175 was fitted with a 3.04 Gallon (11.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 308.65 pounds (140.0 Kg).
