The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, longitudinal 800 V-twin cylinder, camshaft nestles at the base of the V between the cylinders. ,OHV, 4 valves per cylinder operated by pushrods.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x discs 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 38mm Showa telehydraulic fork. while the rear was equipped with a Pro Link'- proggressive rear suspension with single central shock-absorber!. The CX400 Euro was fitted with a 19 Liters fuel tank.
