The Honda GL1800A Gold Wing was a Liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Honda between 2002 and 2003.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1832.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a Five-speed including Overdrive, plus electric Reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/70R-18 front tire and a 180/60R-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual full-floating 296mm discs with three-piston calipers, linked with the rear brake, ABS in the front and a Single ventilated 316mm disc with three-piston caliper, linked with the front brake, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm cartridge fork with anti-dive system; 140mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro Arm single-sided swingarm with Pro-Link single shock with electronically controlled spring preload adjustment with two memory presets; 105mm travel. The wheelbase was 66.61 inches (1692 mm) long.
