The front suspension was a 45mm cartridge fork with anti-dive system while the rear was equipped with a Pro Arm single-side swingarm with Pro-Link® single shock with hydraulic spring- preload. The wheelbase was 67.2 inches (1707 mm) long.
2014 Honda GL1800C Valkyrie[edit | edit source]
The GL1800C Valkyrie is another bike inspired by the mighty Gold Wing. After the success of the F6B machine, Honda decided to take one more step, an even bolder one, with the GL1800C Valkyrie. Just like the F6B, the GL1800C Valkyrie is a Gold Wing stripped down to bare essentials, with the 6-opposed engine, twin-spar aluminum frame and the single-sided swingarm of the original build.
Still, suspensions became sportier, with added LED lights, minimalist bodywork, a removable passenger seat, a blacked out engine and packing both long-distance comfort and an aggressive road stance.
