A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1720.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a gear transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 150/16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300 mm discs in the front and a single 300 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The wheelbase was 68.39 inches (1737 mm) long.

The 2011 MY Indian Chief Blackhawk Dark, in its last year of production, has received improvements as opposed to its previous embodiment, such as a new mini front fairing, a low seat, a Blackhawk seat concho and a rear seat cowling with rider backrest.
At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1720cc, Power Plus 105 V-Twin powerplant mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 135 Nm of torque.
