The Kawasaki Z440 LTD Belt Drive (reduced effect) was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki between 1980 and 1985. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 26.42 HP (19.7 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 67.5mm bore x 62.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 444.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The Z440 LTD Belt Drive (reduced effect) was fitted with a 3.04 Gallon (11.50 Liters) fuel tank.
