Overview[edit | edit source]

Ossa 250

250T

OSSA 250 was a motorcycle tourism model manufactured by OSSA between 1969 and 1985 . Throughout its commercial life several versions have been manufactured, all of them with the following general characteristics: single-cylinder 244 cc air-cooled two-stroke engine, double-sided rack and conventional front and telescopic rear shock absorbers.

The 250 engine was the latest evolution initially designed by the Italian engineer Sandro Colombo, a 160 cc motor and four-speed switch that OSSA had built on all its motorcycles since 1963 and which has been in production -with successive upgrades and cylinder capacity-up to the factory closure. [1] One of the most memorable versions of OSSA 250 is the 250 Tourism (or 250T) of 1975 , [2] as well as its good commercial reception, it has had a strong media repercussion as the base of the Cup OSSA , a trophy of promotion for new riders organized in 1976 and 1977 with great success.
