The Polaris Outlaw 500 was a Liquid Cooled, 4-Stroke,DOHC, Single-cylinder ATV produced by Polaris in 2004.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed, manual transmission with reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 21 X 7-10 front tire and a 20 X 10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual Hydraulic Discs in the front and a Hydraulic Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm With 10 Inch Travel while the rear was equipped with a Independent Aluminum With 10 Inch Travel. The wheelbase was 50.51 inches (1283 mm) long.
2004 Polaris Outlaw 500[edit | edit source]
The Polaris Outlaw 500 was the first ATV with a rear suspension (IRS) to a high performance sports quad. The Outlaw Pro IRS system was designed and engineered with lightweight aluminum components, including the industry’s first single link forged aluminum upper control arm and forged aluminum lower A-arm on a sport ATV. Outlaw comes standard with RydeFX shocks.
