One can really expect quite a high performance from an SxS which has 4WD as the “casual” transmission mode. That is, because when the going gets really tough, the 2009 Polaris Ranger 800 6x6 engages AWD automatically thanks to the on-demand function. This means no user intervention is required for both engaging or disengaging the front axle, and this is really convenient.

The six-wheel independent transmission comes with adjustable preload and a great ground clearance for easy passage over though obstacles, regardless of the loading status. Automatic transmission, huge towing and loading capacities and Lock & Ride accessories make the 2009 Polaris Ranger 800 6x6 stand from the crowd as an SxS which is as versatile as it is reliable, and making a good companion for weekend camping, too.
