The Polaris Sportsman 450 HO was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Polaris between 2005 and 2017.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 500.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 24/8-12 front tire and a 24/10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a macpherson strut while the rear was equipped with a dual a-arm, irs. The Sportsman 450 HO was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 685.64 pounds (311.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.51 inches (1283 mm) long.
