Overview[edit | edit source]
Royal Enfield Bullet Clubman
Powered by the lighter and more efficient new 500cc
fuel injected unit construction engine, the Clubman produces 28 hp and meets
tough Euro 3 emissions requirements for a cleaner ride.
The distinctive upswept Gold Star style silencer fitted to the right side has been re-engineered to work in harmony with the engine management unit, allowing the engine to breathe more freely and creating a classic exhaust note. With its 4.5-gallon hand-polished aluminum tank, the Clubman immediately looks stylistically very different from the road version of the Electra, on which it is based, and this appearance is enhanced by the addition of ace drop handlebars, rear-set footrests and a hand made fibreglass seat unit. The riding position feels sportier, but does not sacrifice comfort or cramp the rider.
The solo seat unit has a removable cowl that covers the pillion seat and has been produced in response to demand from customers who wanted to retain the Clubmans sporty appearance but also required passenger-carrying capacity.{| class="wikitable" |- !Make Model |Royal Enfield Bullet Clubman |- !Year |2012 |- !Engine Type |Four Stroke, single Cylinder, OHV |- !Displacement |499 cc / 30.4 cu-in |- !Bore X Stroke |84 x 90 mm |- !Cooling System |Air Cooled |- !Compression |8.5:1 |- !Lubrication |Wet sump |- !Engine Oil |15W50 API, SL grade, JASO MA |- !Induction |Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) |- !Electrical |12V System; Headlamp 60/55W; Tail lamp 21/5W |- !Exhaust |One-into-one |- !Ignition |Electronic Ignition Keihin |- !Starting |Electric & Kick |- !Max Power |20.3 kW / 27.2 hp @ 5200 rpm |- !Max Torque |41.3 Nm / 4.2 kgf-m / 30.5 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm |- !Clutch |Wet, multiplate |- !Transmission |5 Speed, constant mesh |- !Final Drive |Chain |- !Frame |Single downtube, engine used as stress member |- !Front Suspension |Telescopic, Hydraulic Damping, Stroke 130 mm wheel travel |- !Rear Suspension |Swing Arm With Gas Shock Absorbers, Stroke 80 mm wheel travel |- !Front Brakes |Single 280mm disc |- !Rear Brakes |Foot operated, 153 mm drum |- !Front Tire |90/90 -19 |- !Rear Tire |120/80 -18 |- !Dimensions |Length: 2160 mm / Width (Handle bars) 800 mm / Height: 1050 mm |- !Wheel Base |1370 mm |- !Seat Height |800 mm |- !Wet Weight |187 Kg |- !Fuel Capacity |13.5 Liters / 3.2 gal
