The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 50.0mm bore x 50.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 70.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.50-17 front tire and a 2.50-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic. in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a double shock with compression springs. The Alpha was fitted with a 2.11 Gallon (8.00 Liters) fuel tank.
