The Vespa 150 SUPER was a Two stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled scooter produced by Vespa between 1954 and 1960.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 145.5 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-Speed, grip-shift, constant mesh transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.5 x 8" front tire and a 3.5 x 8" rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum 125 mm in the front and a Drum 127 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Trail arm with coil spring and damper while the rear was equipped with a Coil spring with damper. The 150 SUPER was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 47.2 inches (1199 mm) long.

The Vespa 150 was the first to be built in this displacement. This model with the sidecar had one single long connecting arm with suspension and had coil springs for stability and comfort on long rides.
