A 63.5mm bore x 63.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 176.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Ceriani telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Hydraulic shock absorber with coil spring. The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.

The RX 180 was the most powerful motorcycle produced by Yamaha, between 1980 and 1985 in Brazil. This bike has a very good set of suspension and a great set of brakes.
