The Yamaha SRX 6 (reduced effect) was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1986 and 1990. It could reach a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 26.42 HP (19.7 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 96.0mm bore x 84.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 608.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-18 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The SRX 6 (reduced effect) was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank.
