The Yamaha Saluto was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 2017 and 2018. Claimed horsepower was 8.05 HP (6.0 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 52.4mm bore x 57.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/100-18 front tire and a 80/100-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swingarm. The Saluto was fitted with a 2.01 Gallon (7.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 246.92 pounds (112.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 49.8 inches (1265 mm) long.
