The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90 -17 front tire and a 130/90 -15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 276mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a 180mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a mono-shock.
2000 Daelim VL 125 Daystar Classic[edit | edit source]
The 2000 MY Daelim VL 125 Daystar Classic is addressed to riders who prefer a classic touch on their machine. It comes with studded-leather saddlebags, a dual seat, laced wheels, a chromed exhaust system with dual mufflers, a blacked-out, steel exhaust, pull-back handlebars, a chromed, round headlight, an upside-down telescopic front fork and a rear mono-shock suspension.
In the engine department it comes equipped with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce a claimed 13 horsepower and 10 Nm of torque.
