The Honda GL 1100 Interstate was a Liquid cooled, four stroke, opposed boxer four cylinders, SOHC. 2 valve per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Honda in 1980. Max torque was 64.91 ft/lbs (88.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 81.0 HP (60.4 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1085.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/90-19 front tire and a 130/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x232mm discs 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 250mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Adjustable air assisted fork while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm fork with adjustable shocks absorbers. The wheelbase was 63.19 inches (1605 mm) long.
