The Vespa GTS250 i.e. was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Vespa between 2006 and 2011. It could reach a top speed of 76 mph (122 km/h). Max torque was 14.83 ft/lbs (20.1 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 20.79 HP (15.5 KW) @ 8250 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 244.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal type.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a single sided trailing link with hydraulic shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a twin hydraulic shock absorbers with preload adjuster. The GTS250 i.e. was fitted with a 2.43 Gallon (9.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 321.87 pounds (146.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.94 inches (1370 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Vespa GTS 250 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 244cc, single cylinder Quasar engine mated to a continuously variable transmission and can produce 22 horsepower and 20 Nm of torque. It comes standard with a luggage rack, as well as a redesigned dual seat, which makes this machine suitable for weekend getaways outside the city. Also, it features that unmistakable, classic Vespa design, that riders all around the world look for when they are on the market for a Vespa.
