The Triumph TIGER 800 was a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2012. Max torque was 58.27 ft/lbs (79.0 Nm) @ 7850 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 94.01 HP (70.1 KW) @ 9300 RPM.

A 73.9mm bore x 73.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 799.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80 ZR19 front tire and a 150/70 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via twin 308mm floating discs in the front and a single 255mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 43mm upside down forks while the rear was equipped with a Showa monoshock with hydraulically adjustable preload. The TIGER 800 was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 61.18 inches (1554 mm) long.

New for 2011, the Triumph Tiger 800 sees the British manufacturer enter the middleweight adventure sector for the first time. Highlights of the new model include adjustable seat height and handlebar position, switchable ABS option, 19-invh cast alloy wheels allowing a wide range of road and off-road tires, coded key immobiliser for added security, as well as a 550w generator allows fitment of multiple electrical accessories.
