Built by Honda Italy and only available in that country, the NSR 125 is unusual in using many Italian components such as carburetor, shocks, and brakes. Small capacity bikes are very popular in Europe, and the NSR was the best seller in 1990.

The Honda NSR 125 R was a Liquid cooled, single cylinder, 2 strokes Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda between 1989 and 2004. It could reach a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h). Max torque was 11.06 ft/lbs (15.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.02 HP (11.2 KW) @ 9500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled Liquid cooled, single cylinder, 2 strokes. A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a membrane & power valve.
Drive
The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis
It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc with 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single disc in the rear.
