Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11-degree L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder. A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 821.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
Drive
The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch mechanically operated.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Monobloc Brembo calipers, ABS in the front and a 245 mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS in the rear.
